Comprendre pour traduire : cas des diplômés en Traduction en Algérie

Abstract

إنّ الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو إثبات أهمية مرحلة ما قبل الترجمة في الفعل الترجمي، لاسيما الفهم.

وللقيام بذلك، قمنا بعرض ​​نص يتضمّن مراجع ثقافية في شكل تلاعبات لفظيّةعلى عدد من خريجي الترجمة ليترجموه، وأرفقنا به استبيانا يحتوي على مجموعة من الأسئلة حول معارف المشاركينومنهجية عملهم والأدوات التي يستعينون بها.وأظهرت النتائج أنّ المشاركين لا يملكون المعارف اللغوية وخارج اللغوية اللازمة لترجمة نص من هذا القبيل، وأنّهم لا يعتمدونعلىالطريقة المناسبة، ولا يقومون بالبحث اللازم، ولا يستخدمون الأدوات التي تسمح بفهم جيد للنص المعني وترجمة أفضل له.وأخيرا، فإننا نوصي المشاركين بتدارك النقائص التي يعانون منها وتحسين مهاراتهم اللغوية وخارج اللغوية، كما نوصي أساتذة الترجمة بخلق توازن بين مرحلتي الترجمة – أي الترجمة وما قبلها – في تدريس هذا الإختصاص، فضلا عن شرح كل مرحلة من مراحل عملية الترجمة للطلبة وتبيان أهميتها واقتراح أدوات ووسائل من شأنها أن تسمح بفهم جيد للنص وترجمة أفضل في اللغة المستهدفة.................................................................................................................................................La présente étude a pour objectif de démontrer l’importance de l’étape pré-traduction dans le processus traductif, en particulier la compréhension. Pour ce faire, nous avons soumis à la traduction auprès d’un panel de diplômés dans cette discipline un texte sous forme de jeux de mots contenant des références culturelles. Nous y avons joint un questionnaire englobant un ensemble d’interrogations sur leurs démarches de travail. Les résultats démontrent que les participants ne disposent pas des connaissances linguistiques et extralinguistiques nécessaires à la traduction de ce type de textes. De plus, ils n’adoptent pas la méthode adéquate et ne procèdent pas aux recherches indispensables à tout acte traductif. Et pour finir, ils n’utilisent pas les outils permettant une bonne compréhension et une meilleure traduction du texte en question. Pour conclure, nous recommandons aux participants de combler leurs lacunes en améliorant leurs compétences linguistiques et extralinguistiques. Nous proposons aussi aux enseignants de Traduction de créer un équilibre entre les deux étapes de l’enseignement de la Traduction, tout en explicitant aux apprenants chaque démarche du processus de traduction, et en leur communiquant les outils et moyens adéquats............................................................................................................................................The aim of this study is to demonstrate the importance of the pre-translation phase in the translation process, mainly the comprehension stage. In order to do this we have submitted to the translation a text containing cultural references in the form of wordplays to a group of Translation graduates, to which was attached a questionnaire comprising a set of questions about their work procedures. The results show us that the participants do not have the necessary linguistic and extralinguistic knowledge essential in order to translate this type of text, neither do they adopt the appropriate method nor do they carry out the necessary research for its specific translation. And they do not use tools allowing a good understanding thus a better translation of the text in question. To conclude, we recommend the participants to address their shortcomings and improve their linguistic and extralinguistic skills. Also, we recommend the Translation lecturers to establish a balance between the two phases of translation in order to explain to the learners each and every step of the translation process, and to provide them with the appropriate tools and means.
