Abstract

إن الهدف من هذا المقال، كما يتضح من خلال العنوان، هو النظر في إمكانية وجود فلسفة للدين في المنظومة الفلسفية لديكارت من منظور العلاقة التي أقامها هذا الأخير بين العقل والإيمان من جهة، وكذا العلاقة بين "الحقائق الموحى بها" و"الحقائق المكتسبة" من جهة أخرى. بالنظر إلى "محتوى الإيمان" الذي يتميز بغموض معناه ومغزاه بالنسبة للعقل، وكذلك اليقين الذي تتميز به "الحقائق الموحى بها" بالمقارنة مع "الحقائق المكتسبة"، فإن هذا المقال يخلص إلى نفي وجود فلسفة للدين عند ديكارت، نظراً لغياب توظيف للعقل الفلسفي داخل مبحث الدين، وكذا بسبب الغموض الذي يعتري محتوى الإيمان ومجاوزة "الحقائق الموحى بها" لحدود العقل. إن التباين بين "الحقائق الموحى بها" و"الحقائق المكتسبة" لا تفضي إلى التعارض بينهما، بل إن ديكارت ينتهي إلى المصالحة بينهما، وهو الهدف الذي وضعه مسبقا، أي تبيان توافق الديانة الكاثوليكية وفلسفته وعدم تعارضهما، ومن ثمة تقديم بديل عن فلسفة أرسطو. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////Le propos de cet article, comme l’indique son titre, est de s’interroger sur l’éventuelle existence d’une philosophie de la religion dans le système philosophique de Descartes sous le prisme du rapport qu’avait établi ce dernier entre la raison et la foi, d’une part, et de celui entre les « vérités révélées » et les « vérités acquises », d’autre part. Considérant la nature de la foi -dont le contenu se caractérise par sa nébulosité pour l’entendement humain- et la certitude des « vérités révélées » par rapport aux « vérités acquises », le présent article réfute l’existence d’une philosophie de la religion dans le système cartésien : d’abord, du fait de l’absence d’un investissement de la religion par le biais de la raison philosophique, ensuite parce que les « vérités révélées » transcendent la raison humaine. La ligne de démarcation séparant les deux ordres de vérités n’aboutit guère, dans le système de Descartes, à une contradiction, mais plutôt à une réconciliation et une complémentarité entre celles-ci. Il s’agit là d’un objectif tracé au préalable par cet auteur : montrer que la philosophie cartésienne était plus compatible avec le Catholicisme que la philosophie aristotélicienne.///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////The content of this article, as indicated by its title, is to ask the possible existence of a philosophy of religion in Descartes' philosophical system under the prism of the report established by the latter between reason and faith on the one hand, and the relationship between « revealed truths » and « acquired truths », on the other hand. Given the nature of faith whose content is characterized by its obscurity for the human understanding, as well as by the certainty of «revealed truths » over «acquired truths », this article refutes the existence of a philosophy of religion in the Cartesian system; first, because of the fact of the absence of an investment of religion through philosophical reason, then, because « revealed truths » transcend human reason. The line of demarcation separating the two orders of truths does not lead, in Descartes' system, to a contradiction, but rather to reconciliation and a complementarity between them. This is an objective drawn beforehand by this author, that is to say, to show that Cartesian philosophy was more compatible with Catholicism than Aristotelian philosophy.
