    قياس التأثير العلمي : دراسة مقارنة بين القياسات العلمية والقياسات البديلة / Measuring Scientific Impact: A Comparison Study Between Scientometrics And Altmetrics

    نتج عن انتقال نشاطات الباحثين إلى البيئة الرقمية نوعا جديدا من التفاعلات لم يكن معهودا في البيئة التقليدية، أعطت هذه التفاعلات بعدا آخرا لتأثير البحث العلمي ومنه قياس أثره وهو ما أطلق عليه بالقياسات البديلة. ظهرت هذه القياسات سنة 2010 بنشر بيان من قبل جاسون برايم وزملاءه، عرّف فيه هذا النوع الجديد من القياسات وشرح أسباب اقتراحه كبديلا للقياسات العلمية التي تعنى بالدراسة الكمية والكيفية للإنتاج العلمي. يقارن هذا المقال بين القياسات البديلة والقياسات العلمية من حيث : المناهج، المؤشرات، المزايا والحدود. كما يعالج أوجه التقارب والاختلاف بين المنهجين وذلك بعد تحليل ومناقشة البيان ومساهمات أهم الباحثين في القياسات البديلة. بينت الدراسة المقارنة أن القياسات البديلة لا يمكن أن تحل محل القياسات العلمية نظرا لغياب أسس نظرية متينة حولها، غير أنها مكملة لها خاصة إذا تجاوزت بعض النقائص التي تعرفها وعلى رأسها نقص المعايير والإجماع، ورفعت أهم التحديات التي تواجهها والمتمثلة في قدرتها على التمييز بين شعبية المنشور وجودته العلمية، والتصدي للتحيز والتلاعبات التي قد تعترضها. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// The transition of researchers’ work to the digital environment has given rise to a new form of interaction, uncommon within the traditional context. These interactions have added an extra dimension to scientific research, particularly by measuring its impact through what is commonly referred to as altmetrics. These metrics emerged in 2010 following the publication of a manifesto by Jason Priem and his colleagues. In this manifesto, Priem defined this new type of measurement and explained the reasons for proposing it as an alternative to traditional scientometric methods. The present article delves into a comparison between altmetrics and scientometric methods, examining their methodological approaches, indicators, advantages, and limitations. It also analyzes the similarities and differences between these two approaches after studying the manifesto and contributions of the most eminent researchers in the field of altmetrics. The comparative study revealed that altmetrics cannot replace scientometric methods, as they are not based on solid theoretical foundations. However, they are a useful complement to traditional methods if they can overcome some shortcomings, notably the lack of standards and consensus. In addition, they face a major challenge: distinguishing between a publication’s popularity and its scientific quality while dealing with the biases and manipulations to which they may be exposed to.
