Abstract
الملخص: تسعى هذه الدراسة للوقوف عند أحد الجهود النقدية العربية المعاصرة، التي حاولت استنبات منهج نقدي جديد، في الساحة النقدية العربية، يحدوها أمل كبير، في الارتقاء بالخطاب النقدي العربي المعاصر، الذي عرف انفتاحا على النقد الغربي، عبر المثاقفة النقدية، التي أسهمت في التعرف على مناهج، ونظريات نقدية حديثة ومعاصرة، لم يكن للناقد/القارئ العربي عهد بها، وفي ظل هذه الصحوة التي يشهدها النقد العربي، برز إلى الوجود مجموعة من النقاد العرب، يضطلعون بدور نقل هذه المناهج والنظريات النقدية، وتقريبها إلى القارئ العربي، بغية تمكينه من مواكبة التحولات والتطورات، التي يمر بها النقد الغربي، وسيرا على هذا النهج، نجد دراسة عبد اللطيف محفوظ تصب في الاتجاه نفسه، من حيث المرامي والأبعاد، الموسومة بـــ البناء والدلالة في الرواية- مقاربة من منظور سيميائية السرد- التي عنيت بالمنهج السيميائي السردي، في جانبيه النظري والتطبيقي، وهو أحد المناهج التي تهتم بمقاربة الخطاب الروائي، وفق مستويات تخضع لآليات إجرائية دقيقة، وسنركز في دراستنا لها على الجانب النظري فقط.

The Narrative Semiotic Theory in the criticism of Abdel Latif Mahfouz Abstract: This study seeks to examine one of the contemporary Arab critical efforts that has attempted to cultivate a new critical approach in the Arab critical arena. It is driven by a strong hope to elevate contemporary Arab critical discourse, which has opened up to Western criticism through critical intercultural exchange. This exchange has contributed to the understanding of modern and contemporary critical methodologies and theories with which the Arab critic/reader was previously unfamiliar. In light of this awakening in Arab criticism, a number of Arab critics have emerged to play a role in conveying these critical methodologies and theories to the Arab reader, with the aim of enabling him to keep pace with the transformations and developments taking place in Western criticism. In line with this approach, Abdul Latif Mahfouz's study, entitled "Structure and Significance in the Novel: An Approach from the Perspective of Narrative Semiotics", which deals with the narrative semiotic method in both its theoretical and procedural aspects as one of the methodologies concerned with approaching novelistic discourse through a multi-layered framework that relies on rigorous, precise procedures. In this study, we will concentrate solely on the theoretical aspects.

La présente étude vise essentiellement à mettre en exergue un des efforts le plus marquant de la critique arabe moderne qui a œuvré à polariser une nouvelle approche critique dans le champ de la critique arabe. En effet, elle ambitionne à faire progresser le discours critique arabe contemporain qui s’est largement ouvert sur la critique occidentale par le biais de l’acculturation critique. Dans cette perspective de prise de conscience que connait la critique arabe, un groupe considérable de critiques se sont assignés le rôle de vulgarisation de ces approches auprès du lecteur arabe en vue de lui permettre d’être à jour avec les multiples évolutions de cette critique occidentale. Dans cet ordre d’idées, nous nous apercevons que l’étude de Abdelatif Mahfuz publiée sous l’intitulé « La structure et la signification dans le roman, approche dans la perspective de la sémiotique narrative » s’intéresse à l’approche sémiotique narrative d’un point de vue à la fois théorique et pratique dans la mesure où elle est considérée comme étant l’une des théories permettant d’approcher le discours narratif en fonction de plusieurs niveaux soumis à des mécanismes et à des procédures précis. Dans le cadre de notre recherche, nous focalisons uniquement sur l’aspect théorique.
