dc.description.abstractEmotional isolation is one of the phenomena in which the individual tries to distance himself from his external environment, characterized by negative psychological and social aspects: the individual feels exhaustion, despair and other problems personal, social and academic behavior. The present study aims to study the dimensions of emotional and social isolation among university students. In order to answer the questions in the study, we used: - A descriptive research plan. - A sample of 70 university students - Questionnaire of emotional and social isolation The results indicate that university students show some level of emotional isolation despite their good health and family and academic stability in which they live, so the study shows that these students have a low self-esteem, which does not allow them to have real interaction in academia and good academic adjustment.
