Abstract
تسعى هذه الدراسة المتعلقة بموضوع "التنافس الروسي الأمريكي في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، سوريا دراسة حالة 2010-2021"، إلى تقديم تحليل لطبيعة التنافس الحاصل بين القوتين في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وتحديد أهم مجالاته، حيث سعت الدراسة إلى توضيح الأهمية الجيواستراتيجية لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط، والتي جعلته منطقة للتنافس بين القطبين لتحقيق جملة من المكاسب الجيوسياسية.
ولقد جاءت الأزمة السورية عام 2011 لتأكد على حجم رغبة كل طرف للسيطرة على منطقة الشرق الأوسط، الأمر الذي بدا واضحا في مواقف كل من الدولتين، والتي اتسمت بالتصادم وعدم الاتفاق حول ما يجري في سوريا، وذلك بالنظر للمصالح والأهداف التي يسعى كل طرف إلى تحقيقها والتي تتعارض مع مصالح وأهداف الطرف الآخر، وعليه كانت سوريا ضحية لما يسمى بالمصالح الدولية الجغرافية، فقد تحولت الأراضي السورية من انتفاضة شعب يطالب بالإصلاح الداخلي إلى نزاع دولي متعدد الأطراف، تتجاذب عليها القوى الدولية دون أفق واضحة مستقبلية

This study on the topic of "Russian-American competition in the Middle East, Syria, a case study 2010-2021", seeks to provide an analysis of the nature of the competition between the two powers in the Middle East region and to identify its most important areas. The study sought to clarify the geostrategic importance of the Middle East region, which made it an area of competition between the two poles to achieve a number of geopolitical gains.
The Syrian crisis in 2011 came to confirm the size of each party's desire to control the Middle East region, which was evident in the positions of both countries, which were characterized by collision and disagreement about what is happening in Syria, given the interests and goals that each party seeks to achieve. It contradicts the interests and goals of the other party, and accordingly Syria was a victim of the so-called international geographical interests, as the Syrian lands have transformed from a people's uprising calling for internal reform into a multilateral international conflict, over which international powers are attracting without a clear future horizon.
